I went to my cousins wedding at the weekend, I was stuck of what to wear for weeks.... as I'm tall I can never find full length dresses that fit my leg length. I decided just to make my own, I found a maxi dress pattern in my mum's Prima magazine.
I brought the material for £30 from my local fabric store and it took me about 6 hours to make.... My mum also told me that if I wrote in to the magazine with a picture of the dress I made I would receive £25. So I ended up paying £5 for this dress.
I added wooden and gold chunky jewellery to accessorize and bright fuchsia nails and lipstick.
It's worked well for me so give it a go.
